I’m just an enthusiastic amateur musician. I’ve owned and attempted to play guitars, ukuleles and mandolins for many years. Sometimes I’m ok at it, occasionally I have flashes of brilliance. I do it because it’s fun.
I’ve owned ukes for two or three years but only been playing properly in the last year and a bit since joining Moselele. Playing with other people really is the most fun way to explore music.
The uke is an easy instrument to play. Anyone can do it and you really can get a tune out of it in a short space of time. I really would advocate not sitting in your room alone and doing that but doing it with others.
